Victorian Villa
This handsome Victorian Villa exudes comfort and conviviality and is very much a lived in home. This was a complete restoration project which we have seen through from start to finish.
The generous proportions and period details were all retained in this complete restoration. The kitchen was designed with a Victorian feel with tall units, bespoke ladder and a dresser unit, but all created for modern every day needs. This client loves colour which is evident throughout this project.
The wow factor in the smallest room in the house was given this effect by using the wallpaper on walls and ceiling, combined with the jet sanitary ware , upcycled furniture and parrot - it’s a room to talk about !
The centrepiece of the dining area is the extending twelve seater table. Found for a few pounds at auction it was given a new lease of life once painted and papered. The chairs were another auction find. Also painted and upholstered in mix and match stripes and checks.
The entrance hall had a complete makeover with new panelling which is both smart but very practical. The original tiled floor was found under the carpet to our delight and a beautiful bee detail paper highlights the tall ceilings and original detailing .
