Mickledore Cottage
Originally a tiny annex to the main house, this space was transformed into a light filled two bedroomed modern cottage. Vaulting the ceiling opened up a one room living / kitchen / dining space .
The client had a vintage Ercol dining set and so the mid century design concept was worked around this and some auction finds . The soft blues and greys gave a contemporary feel with modern artworks bringing it up to date.
Wooden window blinds allowed privacy and were a cost effective way of covering very large windows . A small space has now been creatively worked to give separate zones.
